This is an immaculate 1966 C2 Corvette Convertible that has just won best “C2 Modified” at the 2023 Australian Corvette Nationals. There is nothing to spend on this US built award winning car, which is powered by a 427 cub in Big Block Engine with Brodix aluminium heads and Barry Grant Tri-Power induction. The exhaust exits through custom built headers leading to side-pipe exhausts. The engine drives through a TCI built 700R4 4-speed auto, connected to a C4 Dana 44 rear-end.
The car runs on a Street Shop modified chassis with C4 suspension, featuring coil-over shocks and C4 disk brakes with electronic power assist. Steering is rack & pinion.
The interior is upholstered in custom leather and features C5 seats. The car is fitted with a modern audio system and Vintage Air a/c. Even the top is special, being a custom Haartz Stayfast convertible top – the best available.
The exterior of the car is painted in a modified Milano Maroon with custom graphics, and is set off by 17″ Billet Specialties SLG45 wheels.
The car comes with a build book, receipts and details of US Awards.
